Adaptations
Overview
Stamping
Sometimes, when we want to adapt the U-bolt to the tube where it will be placed, the wire may be shaped in this way. This can be achieved by a cold bending or if a bigger deformation is required, the bar could be heated up before stamping it.
With marks
Sometimes, the U-bolt requires to have some marks which help it to better adapt to the profile where it is being placed. Depending on the depth, these marks can be carried out automatically in the manufacturing process or by means of an operation a posteriori.
Thread rolling in nominal diameter
For some uses a part must be made with the same diameter of thread as the wire we started with. To achieve this result, the threaded area will be reduced to the pitch diameter before threading it. With this process, we can get a M10 threaded part from a wire of 10mm.
